Mr. Charlie Chan is known by many affectionate names: Mr. HOC, Mr. Real Estate and The Man in the Red Jacket. He is a man whose reputation supersedes him, a man whose achievement and dynamism out weigh even his prosperous size and bright red trademark jacket. His name is synonymous with real estate. In official circles, he is the Founder and Group Advisor of S. K. Brothers Realty (M) Sdn Bhd, a household name in the Malaysian real estate scene renowned for its exceptional customer service and its trail blazing pioneering firsts. The Open House Programme, Exclusive Marketing Programme, SalesMasters Programme and the QCC Circle are just part of the services that we take for granted today which were pioneered by Charlie Chan.
Nevertheless, ceilings have never been barriers to Charlie Chan whose charisma and influence has benefited the real estate industry as a whole, outside of S. K. Brothers. He has served as the President of the Malaysian Institute of Estate Agents (MIEA), was the first Malaysian Real Estate Agent to attend the National Association of Realtors (NAR) Convention in the United States, is a National Committee Member of FIABCI Malaysian Chapter and also Vice Chairman of FIABCI Asia Pacific and has even served on the Board of Valuers, Appraisers And Estate Agents Malaysia (LPPEH).
With Charlie's guiding hand, S. K. Brothers has revolutionized the way Malaysians shop for property through their already 13 Home Ownership Campaigns. An event completely initiated by private enterprise in response to a Government's call to promote home ownership and in so doing, stimulate a festering economy. Even those in the industry have benefited from his influence through events like the National Property Sales & Marketing Conference.
Most people would be satisfied with such achievement. But not Charlie Chan, In keeping with his "exceeding all expectations" attitude, Charlie Chan is both a public figure and a contributor to our society. He is a born leader and a man who believes in contributing back to the society where he has excelled. One of his philosophies is that "If You Help Enough People Get What They Want, You Too Will Get What You Want In Life" and many have certainly be touched by Charlie's hand. Many of the leaders in todays' real estate field have been graduates from S. K. Brothers.
He has served as the President of the Rotary Club of Bangsar and has contributed as member of rotary for close to 20 years. Charlie Chan is also a spiritual man. He is a pillar of a local church committed to benevolence, community service and spreading good news. The moment you meet Charlie Chan, you cannot help but be overwhelmed by his positivity and energy. It is little wonder that he has also served as President of the MIM Toastmasters Club and a Divisional Governor Pan South Estate Asia to helping others improve their communication and leadership skills. He also contributes his vast experience as a member of the Malaysian Institute of Management and British Institute of Management.

Chan Ai Cheng

Ai Cheng graduated with a Bachelors of Property from the prestigious University of Auckland, New Zealand, where she majored in Property Valuation, Investment and Development. According to Ai Cheng, other than obtaining her Bachelor's Degree, her greatest achievements during her university days was taking the plunge (literally speaking) by bungee jumping!
Upon returning from New Zealand, she joined Farlim Group Berhad as Assistant Manager in charge of Property Management of Plaza City One, a retail shopping centre in Masjid India and their numerous apartment projects in Bandar Subang. She then joined the Real Estate and Housing Developer's Association Malaysia (REHDA), where she was involved in the organization of the first ever Home Ownership Campaign in December 1998. This was just one of the more notable activities she organized on behalf of the organization, in addition to the many other activities organized for, and within the Association.
Ai Cheng then joined the Sales & Marketing department of SK Brothers Realty in June 1999, and being the highly dynamic and enthusiastic individual that she is, Ai Cheng rose the ranks before long to become the Top Producer – Sales Performance in Year 2000. This paved the way for her to eventually take on the challenging role of General Manager of SK Brothers that she holds and thrives in today which pretty much the same commitment and enthusiasm.
Ai Cheng is a Registered Estate Agent with the Board of Valuers, Appraisers and Estate Agents Malaysia. In addition to her responsibilities in SKB, Ai Cheng also served in the capacity of Council Member of the Malaysian Institute of Estate Agents (MIEA) 2006/2008, Member of the Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (ISM) and Registered Financial Consultant with the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants (IARFC). She was also recently conferred the title of Certified Residential Specialist, National Association of Realtors, United States of America.
She is also a regular columnist for Smart Investor Magazine on Property, iproperty.com.my Magazine; a regular feature in the press on property matters; and served as distinguished speaker for several national financial/investment/property conferences, the latest of such conferences being the Asia Traders and Investors Convention 2010 (ATIC 2010). She was also recognized for her career achievement and contributions to society by the Malaysian Women's Weekly, being the winner of the Great Women of Our Time Award in the Finance & Commence Category Year 2007.
She is also a graduate of the Anthony Robbins' Unleash the Power within – Firewalk Programme.
